About Me

Hey, I’m Jackson Flint, an Oregon State University alum with a degree in Apparel Design. I’m currently looking for a full-time role where I can keep learning, designing, and bringing my ideas to life.

I spent last summer interning at Kohl’s on their apparel design team, where I got to see how a big brand operates from concept through production. I worked with tech designers, sat in on fittings, gave feedback on samples, and learned how every detail adds up to make a garment feel right. It gave me a better understanding of how design, function, and collaboration come together in the real world.

At Oregon State, my senior collection, Grounded, was inspired by where I grew up, Montana,  and the people who live and work there. It was all about durable materials, comfort, and storytelling through texture and form. My favorite piece, Shrouded, was a deerskin leather jacket that pushed me creatively and technically. It was my first time working with leather, and I fell in love with the process imperfections and all.

I’ve always been drawn to denim and the way it carries its own story over time. I care a lot about sustainability too, not just as a buzzword, but in making clothes that last and feel meaningful to the person wearing them.

At the end of the day, I just want to make good garments, ones that are honest, functional, and built to last.

As I create new designs, JFF.clothing will be updated.  Keep checking back to see what’s new.
